  • What is missing here is the fact that social security pays for itself. It hasn't had to borrow anything from the government and does not contribute to the deficit at all. The problem is going to be after 2027 when they will have to start digging into the principle.

  • As a democrat, the only possible alternative to the current President was Huntsman and he bowed out because the ultra right could not stomach a moderate. So, the only choice left is to re-elect Obama. The current circus show amply demonstrates how far right and out of touch the Repugs are.
